Uplift Ready – Get Ready For Changes From February!
Today I want to tell you about Uplift Radio and how it can help you through the day…and night. The programmes are geared to cheering you up – even if you don’t need cheering! From ‘Feelings At Midnight’ with its mellow music helping you to finish your day, to the Uplift Show, sometimes with two presenters, with lively banter and upbeat tracks. And along the way, many superb DJs playing their own kind of music and giving you the best of their ‘encouraging’ thoughts and experiences. Although we’re not a specifically Christian station, we do air uplifting religious material on a Sunday and make repeats available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sheila listened avidly to many of all these programmes before she passed away – they seemed to encourage her. And so now we want to encourage you with her interview on the ‘Go On Show’ (times to be confirmed tomorrow). She lived a full life and shares in it how she was helped to overcome the major difficulties she faced. I think you’ll also enjoy the songs she chooses – and the ones she sings!
Talking of songs, I’m sharing with you the link below to another song from the album ‘A Tribute To Sheila’ which resulted from my collaboration with AI – ‘Donegal Has Lost A Lovely Star’. It may be AI created, but it sounds very Irish, and good! Remember all the songs can be freely downloaded from the home page of our website www.upliftfm.com.
Happy listening!
