It’s Here! The realisation of John Boyle’s dream – the opening of a Councelling Centre in Dungloe today. John’s wife’s tragic suicide and the unavailability of quick help set him on the path to encouraging his community to bring about a Centre that would benefit others who need support in times of crisis. Massive fundraising, the goodwill of the community and the work of a dedicated committee have resulted in Gemma’s Legacy Of Hope and Play Matters. These organisations situated in the new Dungloe Counselling Centre will serve the Rosses area primarily, but will also have a far reaching effect. Linda Nighallchoir talks about this amazing project then tells of her own work in mental health with all stratas of society. The issues Linda covers reach far beyond Donegal and will be of great interest to all listeners.
